Major stories keep breaking around the Carlos Ghosn/Nissan legal battle.
Last Thursday, Ghosn was "re-arrested" in Japan on continuing allegations that he used company resources to enrich himself.
This week started with an unusual video rant starring Ghosn. While not naming specific individuals, he indicated there was a greater conspiracy around his legal issues and removal from Nissan's board.
Within 48 hours, his legal team has filed more actions, specifically challenging the legality of his detention.
It's unusual to see a high profile case like this being fought so openly. It's easy to make a snarky comment (like "Pass the Popcorn" comes to mind) but they are serious allegations being tried in a judicial system and culture that's very foreign to most of us.
Not sure how this will end up, but I am certain the public allegations will continue with increasing detail and frequency.
